VRChat Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 are separate from the tiers sold on this website. This guide explains the VRChat membership benefits and how to claim them.

These benefits apply while your membership is active and the appropriate community roles are assigned.
VRChat group benefits
- Create Cimmarian Group Public, Group+ and members-only Group instances, according to the permissions assigned to your group role.
Discord benefits
- A Cimmarian VRChat member role, with cosmetic role styling where enabled.
- Permission to post embeds, upload files and add reactions in the relevant channels.
- External emoji and sticker permissions in supported channels.
- Streaming permissions and access to the member channels included with your role.
- Access to the included music and community bots without first earning the usual community rank.

VRChat Tier 1
Includes all the shared VRChat and Discord benefits shown above.
VRChat Tier 2
Includes Tier 1 benefits, plus:
- Permission to view the VRChat group member list.
- Permission to create age-gated group instances, subject to VRChat’s verified 18+ requirements.
- Public thread creation and Soundboard/external sound permissions in the relevant Discord channels.
- Access to free games when offered; availability varies.
- Access to eligible community events, including after they have started, subject to each event’s rules and capacity.
VRChat Tier 3
Includes Tier 2 benefits, plus:
- Priority in queues for Cimmarian VRChat group instances that use a queue.
- Controls for Discord voice channels assigned to you, such as adjusting available slots and managing who can enter.
- Private thread creation and Priority Speaker permissions in supported Discord channels.
- Voice messages and poll creation in the relevant Discord channels.
Discord benefits are permissions within the Cimmarian server. They do not include Discord Nitro; features that require Nitro still depend on your Discord account.
How to claim your benefits
- Find the Cimmarian group in VRChat. Open its Store to check the current tiers, prices and subscription options. Ask in our Discord if you need the group link.
- Check your VRChat membership. After subscribing, make sure the membership is active on the account you use to join the group.
- Join the Cimmarian Discord. If your member role is missing, open a support ticket with your VRChat username, Discord username and VRChat tier.
- Follow the current verification steps. The team can check your membership and help apply any missing community roles.
Common questions
Does this include VRChat+ or a website membership?
No. A Cimmarian VRChat group membership is separate from VRChat+ and from a Cimmarian website membership. It does not automatically activate a website tier. For CIMMagazine, music downloads and physical rewards, see Cimmarian website memberships.
Can I create or enter an age-gated instance just by subscribing?
No. The relevant group permission and VRChat’s verified 18+ requirements still apply. A paid membership does not replace age verification. See VRChat’s age-verification guide for details.
Does queue priority guarantee immediate entry?
No. Queue priority improves your position in an applicable Cimmarian group-instance queue. You may still need to wait for space, and the instance’s access requirements still apply.
How do I renew my membership?
VRChat group subscriptions currently do not renew automatically. Check your subscription in VRChat and use the available extension option if you want to continue. Subscription benefits end when the subscription expires.
