Our new Looking for Group system brings together popular community games, relevant player notifications, and voice lobbies you can manage yourself. Whether you’re gathering familiar faces or meeting fellow Cimmarians for the first time, it gives you an easier way to get a session started.
Start your next session
Open Cimmarian LFG in Discord and select Create Group. The system will guide you through setting up your lobby:

Choose your game. Pick from a growing selection of community favourites, including Dead by Daylight, The Outlast Trials, Phasmophobia, R.E.P.O., and more.

Add your session details. Depending on the game, you can choose ranks, player roles, and other options to help people understand the group you’re building.

Bring your group together. Create your lobby, reach eligible players, and invite friends directly. You can invite friends to both Cimmarian and your lobby.

Relevant pings for active players
Cimmarian LFG is designed to connect you with active community members who have played your chosen game within the last 30 days.
Behind the scenes, we use game IDs to recognise supported games through Discord activity and keep the matching game roles current. This helps notifications stay connected to what Cimmarians have been playing recently.
Pings also stay within the relevant Game Genre roles, which members choose manually.
For example, a horror game lobby only pings eligible players who have selected the Horror Games genre role. Recent game activity and chosen interests work together to keep invitations useful and reduce unwanted notifications.
Tip: Choose the Game Genre roles you’re interested in so you can receive relevant LFG pings.
Your lobby, your control
Once your lobby is running, you have control over your Discord game group and its voice channel. You can:

Kick or ban players from your lobby.

Increase the lobby’s capacity.

Change the game you’re playing.

Invite friends directly to join the session.
Lobby bans also carry over to your future lobbies. If you ban someone from your lobby, that restriction follows the lobbies you create next, helping you maintain boundaries across future sessions.
More ways to play together
For the community, Cimmarian LFG means more opportunities to turn shared interests into actual games.
Relevant pings help hosts reach people who already play their game. Guided setup makes organising a session easier. Personal lobby controls give hosts more say over their experience, while direct invitations help friends join the fun.
Together, these features make it easier to meet other Cimmarians, build regular groups, and keep our community connected through co-op, survival, and competitive play.
